How beautiful is this movie put together by Kinfolk? The online magazine recently had a dinner at the gardening Mecca, Terrain, just outside of Philadelphia, and it looks like one of the most relaxing and beautiful events I’ve ever seen.

Kinfolk is centered around the idea that entertaining should not be some contrived, once in a lifetime, or once a year event. Instead entertaining should be gatherings between friends that are genuine, beautiful, organic, spontaneous and simple. Their aesthetic is unique and consistent, yet at the same time hard to describe. Here are a few images from other events they have hosted that I think sum up the spirit of the parties well:

Looking at these images make me so happy. I’m hoping I will be able to host my own Kinfolk-esque event this summer or maybe someday they will bring their gatherings to Boston!
