I am just at the cusp of an age where all of my friends start to get married, buy houses and have babies. It feels like at least once a week someone I know gets engaged on facebook, and this weekend I am going to not one, but TWO housewarming parties. So while it will be a very festive next few years, I also anticipate buying a lot of gifts and wrapping them in lovely summery wrapping paper. I think that housewarmings are probably the hardest of the “milestone” events to shop for. With weddings and babies, you are usually given a preselected wishlist, but with a housewarming, you are on your own. And not to mention, you usually have less to spend- so its sometimes hard to find something in your budget that isn’t too generic. Here’s one idea I’ve come up with for what I think would be a lovely gift for any friend- and it’s also easy to customize for your price range!
…a signature drink! One that is a bit on the unique side that your hosts will love to make again and again for their guests when they come over. Pair the written out drink recipe with a bottle of alcohol and a pitcher or beautiful set of glasses (depending on your price range) I also love these amazing Fornasetti coasters!
What are your favorite go to gifts?
